A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for DICOM connectivity testing.

The DICOM MCP Server is designed to facilitate DICOM connectivity testing by leveraging the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It allows users to configure and manage DICOM nodes, perform C-ECHO operations, and integrate with Claude's MCP for seamless DICOM operations. The server can be set up traditionally or through MCP installation, which is recommended for better integration with Claude. It uses a nodes.yaml file for storing DICOM node configurations, enabling users to perform operations using node names rather than explicit details. The server runs on 0.0.0.0:8080 by default and can be managed directly or through Claude once installed via MCP.

Features

  • DICOM Node Configuration: Uses nodes.yaml for easy management of DICOM nodes.
  • C-ECHO Operations: Perform C-ECHO using node names or explicit parameters.
  • MCP Integration: Seamless integration with Claude's MCP for automated management.
  • Flexible Setup: Offers traditional and MCP installation methods.
  • Troubleshooting Support: Provides solutions for common setup and execution issues.
