The server can be run locally or hosted independently, offering flexibility in deployment. It supports over 2,500 apps and APIs, enabling developers to manage servers for their users within their own applications. The server also features fully-managed OAuth and credential storage, ensuring secure handling of user data. Developers can use the server to connect accounts, configure parameters, and make API requests seamlessly. The server is available in two modes: app-specific and dynamic, with the latter allowing for dynamic tool updates. While the dynamic server is experimental and relies on an internal database, the app-specific server is readily available for use. The server can be hosted using Docker, and development can be facilitated with tools like pnpm and the MCP Inspector.
