A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that integrates with OmniFocus to enable Claude (or other MCP-compatible AI assistants) to interact with your tasks and projects.

The OmniFocus MCP Server acts as a bridge between AI assistants like Claude and the OmniFocus task management system. It allows AI models to interact with your OmniFocus database, enabling them to view, create, edit, and remove tasks and projects through natural language conversations. This integration can transform documents like syllabi or meeting transcripts into detailed projects with tasks, tags, and due dates. It also supports creating visualizations of tasks, processing multiple tasks or projects in a single operation, and bulk managing OmniFocus items efficiently. The server uses AppleScript to communicate with OmniFocus, leveraging the Model Context Protocol SDK for standardized AI interaction with external tools.
