The Sticky Notes MCP Server is a lightweight server that facilitates the sharing of sticky note data with Claude Desktop's MCP client.

Sticky Notes MCP Server

This project implements a lightweight Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that shares sticky note data with Claude Desktop's MCP client. Launching the server makes your notes available straight from Claude, so you can ask the assistant to list, search, or update them without leaving the desktop app.

  • main.py boots the MCP server and defines the note retrieval tools exposed to Claude Desktop.
  • Notes are stored in notes.txt (one per line) and are surfaced to the client on demand.
