An MCP (Machine Conversation Protocol) server implementation for the WHOOP API.
The WHOOP MCP Server is a project designed to interface with the WHOOP API, providing users with the ability to interact with their WHOOP fitness data. It leverages the Machine Conversation Protocol (MCP) architecture, which facilitates seamless interoperability with AI assistants. This server allows users to access various types of fitness data, including user profiles, sleep analytics, workout information, recovery metrics, and cycle data. The server is built on Node.js and requires a WHOOP account with API access, as well as an API key obtained from the WHOOP Developer Portal. The server can be easily set up by cloning the repository, installing dependencies, and configuring the environment variables. Once set up, the server provides several API endpoints that require authentication via the WHOOP API key.
