The mcp-stdio-to-streamable-http-adapter MCP Server allows integration of any MCP Client with STDIO MCP Server Support to Streamable HTTP MCP Servers.
The mcp-stdio-to-streamable-http-adapter MCP Server is designed to bridge the gap between traditional STDIO MCP Servers and the newer Streamable HTTP MCP Servers. With the recent addition of Streamable HTTP Transport to the MCP Specification, developers face a challenge as most clients have not yet adopted this support. This adapter allows developers to continue using their existing MCP Clients while also taking advantage of the new Streamable HTTP transport. By acting as a relay, it enables all MCP Clients to support Streamable HTTP immediately, facilitating the development and deployment of Streamable HTTP MCP Servers. This tool is particularly useful for developers who want to integrate Streamable HTTP MCP Servers with clients and LLMs without waiting for client-side support.
