CLI for Microsoft 365 MCP Server is a work in progress and more of a proof of concept than a complete solution.

The CLI for Microsoft 365 MCP Server is designed to integrate with the CLI for Microsoft 365, allowing users to leverage the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to execute tools and commands within the Microsoft 365 environment. This server requires Node.js 20.x or higher and uses the globally installed CLI for Microsoft 365 for authentication and command execution. Users must authenticate using the CLI for Microsoft 365 before running the MCP server, which then utilizes the same authentication context. The server can be tested using the MCP Inspector or integrated into Visual Studio Code for use with GitHub Copilot Agent, providing a versatile environment for managing Microsoft 365 tasks programmatically.
