MCP Minecraft Remote is a project that allows remote control of a Minecraft player using Model Context Protocol (MCP), inspired by the original mcp-minecraft project.
MCP Minecraft Remote is a tool designed to enable remote control of a Minecraft player through an AI assistant using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This project extends the capabilities of the original mcp-minecraft by supporting remote server connections, allowing users to interact with Minecraft servers from anywhere. The tool provides a comprehensive set of features for navigating, mining, building, and interacting with the Minecraft world. Users can chat with other players, manage inventory, and perform advanced movements like jumping, sneaking, and sprinting. Additionally, it supports entity interactions, container usage, item crafting, and villager trading. The tool is compatible with Minecraft Java Edition servers version 1.8 or later and requires Node.js 18+ and an AI assistant that supports MCP, such as Claude.
