Storm MCP Server with Sionic AI serverless RAG is an open protocol enabling seamless integration between LLM applications and RAG data sources and tools.
The Storm MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server is designed to facilitate seamless integration between LLM applications and RAG data sources and tools. By implementing Anthropic's Model Context Protocol, it allows users to directly utilize the Storm Platform within Claude Desktop. The integration with Sionic AI's Storm Platform enables users to connect their powerful embedding models and vector DB product suite. Users can sign up at sionicstorm.ai to obtain an API Token and create RAG solutions instantly. The server provides a standardized protocol for context sharing, a tool system for defining and invoking tools, file management capabilities, and API integration with Storm's endpoints. The architecture is based on a three-tier structure involving a host (LLM application), client (protocol implementation), and server (function provider), with the Storm MCP server implementing the server part to provide resources and tools to LLM.
Features
- Context Sharing: Provides a standard protocol for interaction between LLM and data sources.
- Tool System: Offers a standardized method for defining and invoking tools such as send_nonstream_chat, list_agents, list_buckets, and upload_document_by_file.
- File Management: Implements file system operations for file upload, reading, and management.
- API Integration: Connects with Storm's API endpoints to offer various functionalities.
