A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for DICOM connectivity testing.
The DICOM MCP Server is designed to facilitate DICOM connectivity testing through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. It allows users to configure and manage DICOM nodes, perform C-ECHO operations, and integrate with Claude's Model Context Protocol for seamless DICOM operations. The server can be set up traditionally or through MCP installation, providing flexibility in deployment. It uses a 'nodes.yaml' file for storing DICOM node configurations, enabling users to list nodes, perform operations using node names, and utilize different local AE titles. The server is designed to run on 0.0.0.0:8080 by default and can be managed directly or through Claude once installed via MCP.
