A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables searching and retrieving academic paper information from multiple sources.
The Academic Paper Search MCP Server is designed to facilitate real-time academic paper searches and retrievals from various sources. It provides access to paper metadata, abstracts, and full-text content when available, all structured according to the MCP specification. This server is primarily intended for integration with Anthropic's Claude Desktop client but is potentially compatible with other AI models and clients that support tool/function calling capabilities, such as OpenAI's API. The server is under active development, and its features and functionality may evolve over time.
