MCP server implementation that enables voice conversations with Claude Desktop, initially focusing on Text-to-Speech (TTS) capabilities.
Claude Voice MCP is a Model-Centric Programming server designed to extend the capabilities of Claude Desktop by enabling voice conversations. The primary focus of this project is to implement Text-to-Speech (TTS) functionality, allowing Claude's text responses to be converted into spoken audio. The server uses WebSocket-based real-time communication to facilitate seamless interaction between Claude Desktop and the voice processing services. The project is currently in the pre-alpha stage, meaning it is still under development and subject to significant changes. It is part of the CogentEcho.ai ecosystem, which includes various layers for strategic orchestration, tactical task execution, and memory services. The development roadmap includes future plans for implementing Speech-to-Text capabilities, allowing for full duplex conversations.
