ILBudget-mcp is a FastMCP server designed to provide seamless access to Israel's governmental budget data via the OpenBudget API. It acts as a bridge between the OpenBudget API and MCP clients, allowing users to easily access budget data, contracts, and support information. The project is built upon the work of the OpenBudget/BudgetKey team, and it offers comprehensive search capabilities, real-time integration, and historical budget tracking. The server is easy to use and supports client applications through an MCP interface. Users can craft their own queries using Redash and test them with the ILBudgetServer.py script.
