CData's Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for Google Drive is a read-only server that allows LLMs to query live data from Google Drive using the CData JDBC Driver.
The CData MCP Server for Google Drive is designed to facilitate the interaction between large language models (LLMs) and Google Drive data. By leveraging the CData JDBC Driver, this server exposes Google Drive as relational SQL models, enabling LLMs to access live data through a simple MCP interface. This setup allows users to query Google Drive data using natural language without needing SQL knowledge. The server is read-only, but a full-featured version with read, write, update, and delete capabilities is available in beta. The server is built using Java and requires the CData JDBC Driver for Google Drive to be installed and licensed. Once configured, the server can be integrated with AI clients like Claude Desktop to provide seamless data access.
