CData's Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for Access is a read-only server that allows LLMs to query live Access data using the CData JDBC Driver.
The CData MCP Server for Access is designed to facilitate the interaction between large language models (LLMs) and live Access data. By leveraging the CData JDBC Driver, this server exposes Access data as relational SQL models, enabling LLMs to retrieve information through natural language queries without the need for SQL knowledge. This server is read-only, but a full-featured version with read, write, update, and delete capabilities is available in beta. The server is built using Java and requires the CData JDBC Driver for Access to be installed and licensed. Once set up, it can be integrated with AI clients like Claude Desktop to provide seamless data access.
Features
- Read-only access to Access data via MCP interface.
- Integration with CData JDBC Driver for Access.
- Natural language querying without SQL.
- Compatible with AI clients like Claude Desktop.
