This project is an MCP (Multi-Agent Conversation Protocol) Server designed for the OpenAPI URL provided by NASA's Asteroids NeoWs API, auto-generated using AG2's MCP builder.
The MCP Server is a robust and flexible server designed to facilitate multi-agent conversations using the Multi-Agent Conversation Protocol (MCP). It is specifically tailored to interact with the NASA Asteroids NeoWs API, providing a seamless interface for developers to engage with the API's data. The server is built using Python 3.9+ and leverages modern development tools such as ruff for linting, mypy for static type checking, and pytest for testing. The server supports various transport modes, including stdio, sse, and streamable-http, allowing for versatile deployment options. Configuration is highly customizable through environment variables, enabling users to specify paths to JSON configuration files or directly input JSON strings for configuration. Security parameters, such as API keys, can also be managed through environment variables. The server is designed with development best practices in mind, including pre-commit hooks for maintaining code quality and a comprehensive testing suite to ensure reliability.
